WHY WE CREATED GRITS

[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”120233″]GRITS is a program of the Sustainable Endowments Institute (SEI), a Boston-based organization. SEI launched GRITS 1.0 in 2014 as part of its mission of mobilizing institutional leaders to invest in energy-efficiency-focused climate solutions. Now on version 4.0+, GRITS supports the sustainability work of hundreds of organizations.

Every day, institutions are tackling projects that reduce resource consumption and save money by lowering utility bills. SEI created GRITS because no tool existed that allowed institutions to easily track and demonstrate a project’s significant energy, financial, and carbon benefits. Institutions can also access project performance data from peers as well as share their own data via the GRITS Library. GRITS is designed to be an affordable platform that offers numerous benefits over traditional spreadsheet tracking.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ position_vertical=”bottom” gutter_size=”3″ overlay_alpha=”50″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ medium_width=”0″ width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1482372965516{border-top-width: 40px !important;}”][vc_single_image media=”46419″ media_width_percent=”100″ alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_height_percent=”60″ override_padding=”yes” h_padding=”3″ top_padding=”2″ bottom_padding=”2″ back_image=”45387″ parallax=”yes” overlay_color=”color-jevc” overlay_alpha=”20″ gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ position_vertical=”middle” align_horizontal=”align_center” gutter_size=”3″ style=”dark” overlay_alpha=”50″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ medium_width=”0″ width=”1/1″][vc_custom_heading text_color=”color-xsdn” separator=”yes” separator_color=”yes”]
